Video, Voice & Text Chat with Strangers
iMeetzu is a plain way to meet someone new in your browser. Press start, get matched with a stranger, and talk by video, voice, or text. Here is each thing you can do, and how it works in practice.
01
Three ways to talk
Meet on camera, keep it voice-only, or just type — you pick before you connect.
Some nights you feel like being seen, some nights you don't. On iMeetzu that is your call. Turn on your camera for a random video chat, drop to voice when you want to talk but not be on screen, or stay on text and share more when it feels right.
You are not locked into the mode you started in. Warm up on anonymous text chat and move to camera with the same person once you both want to — the conversation carries over instead of starting again.
How it works
- On the start panel, choose Video, Voice, or Text.
- Begin matching in the mode you picked.
- Switch modes mid-chat whenever it feels natural.
02
Instant random matching
One press and you are talking to a real person — no profile to build first.
The reason most people open a random chat is that they do not want a project. Press start and video chat with strangers begins right away — always one-to-one, never a crowded group room, and never a form to fill in before you get to say hello.
Matches are drawn from whoever is online at that moment, so a live video chat puts you with someone who is actually there and ready to talk, not a profile that logged off hours ago.
How it works
- Open the homepage and press Start Chatting.
- Wait a beat while you are paired with someone online.
- Say hi — the other person is live, not a saved profile.
03
A match not clicking? One tap and you are onto someone new.
Not every conversation is going to land, and that is fine. If a chat runs quiet or is not for you, tap next and you move straight to a fresh match. No awkward goodbye, no menu to dig through.
Because moving on is that quick, you decide how long anything lasts. Stay for an hour with someone you enjoy, or skip through a few until the timing feels right — the way an Omegle alternative should work.
How it works
- In any chat, tap Next to leave and rematch.
- You are paired with a new person right away.
- Repeat as often as you like — there is no limit.
04
Start anonymous
Begin with a nickname and share only what you choose to.
You are not asked to hand over a public profile before you talk. Pick a nickname, press start, and how much you reveal is up to you — that is the point of an anonymous chat.
Keeping things light at the start also makes it easier to be yourself. There is no follower count or bio staring back at you, just a one-to-one video chat with one other person.
How it works
- Choose a nickname when you open the site.
- Start chatting without signing up.
- Share more details later, only if you want to.
05
Runs in your browser
Nothing to install — it works in the browser you already have open.
iMeetzu loads in the browser on your phone, tablet, or computer — a no-signup video chat with no app to download, no update to sit through, and nothing taking up space on your device.
That also means you can start on your laptop and pick it up on your phone later. Same site, same tab, wherever you happen to be — a quick chat with strangers is always one tap away.
How it works
- Open the site in any modern browser.
- Allow camera or mic access when you choose video or voice.
- Start — there is nothing else to set up.
06
Block, mute, report
You set the boundaries, and a moderation team backs you up.
You are in charge of your side of every chat on iMeetzu. Mute someone if the audio is a lot, block a person so you are never matched with them again, and report anything that crosses a line so the community guidelines can be enforced.
Reports are reviewed by a moderation team. If you want to think through your own habits too, the safety tips page walks through what to keep private and when to trust your gut.
How it works
- Tap Next to leave any chat instantly.
- Block a person to stop being rematched with them.
- Report behaviour that breaks the guidelines.
